At Burleson Pools, we’re always looking for exciting new ways to take our pool-building experience to the next level. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we made the top ten in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Indoor Water Parks!
Located in Foley, Alabama, Tropic Falls at OWA is an indoor oasis, featuring a 75-foot waterslide, a lazy river, a children’s play area, and more.
We were honored to help create this amazing water park with our friends at Cox Pools. And now, with this recognition from USA Today, it’s clear that all our hard work paid off.

The USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards cover a huge array of topics, and we’ve managed to enter the conversation for the best indoor water park. The selection process is simple: Nominees are selected by a panel of experts and then the editors of 10Best narrow things down to the final set of nominees, from there, readers can vote once per category, per day.
About Tropic Falls at Owa
Before we go into how you can get voting, let’s talk a little bit more about the water park!
In collaboration with Cox Pools, we built Tropic Falls, the largest indoor water park in the Southeastern United States which won a Master Pools Guild Tiffany Outstanding award at MPG’s 2023 Excellence Awards. It’s over 100,000 sq ft and boasts 23 rides, 6 different slides standing over 75 feet tall, a convertible glass roof, a zero-entry pool area, and a lazy river.
Oh, and to top it all off, the pool area also includes a tropical play structure with five slides, a dump bucket tower, and a 6,000 sq ft kiddie pool.
